| Biography |

|
Arriving in New Zealand as a refugee at age 4, Kim is currently living in Wellington where he studied illustration at Massey University. Graduating with honours in a bachelor of design, Kim is competent with a range of media such as ink, acrylic, watercolour, and digital. With English, his second language, Kim's passion towards illustration grew at an early age as he discovered how images could powerfully convey stories and ideas, helping him a lot with his learning and adapting to the New Zealand way of life. Kim’s passion of storytelling through images has resulted in his wish to illustrate graphic novels and children’s books.
