Jono was born in Palmerston North, NZ in 1981 and from a young age
has been actively interested in many aspects of creativity.

His family moved to the Wairarapa when he was six and spent the next
few years growing up in the country. The family then moved to
Wellington and he completed secondary school at Rongotai College.

Since leaving school he moved on to a year long diploma of Art &
Creativity from The Learning Connection, in Island Bay in 2001.

Recently in 2006 he has completed a Bachelor of Design from Massey
University, majoring in illustration and furthering his skills in
digital painting/rendering, character and concept creation.
