Biography

Mat studied painting at Ilam School of Fine Arts, (Christchurch) graduating with a BFA in 1992.

He has had his comics and cartooning work published locally and internationally, and has done illustration work for numerous clients including Learning Media and Pavement magazine.

He works in both traditional and digital mediums, and his style runs the gamut from simple clear line cartooning to elaborate cross hatching and detail, sometimes within the same work.
