|
Yulia came from Russia to Wellington, New Zealand at the age of 16 with her family. She was fascinated and inspired by New Zealand's fresh natural beauty. After having studied Art History at Victoria University for a year she became eager to pursue her own creative talents. Yulia studied at Massey University College of Creative Arts and received a Bachelor of Design qualification in 2009. While still studying she worked as an illustrator of children's books by Russian and UK authors. Yulia strongly believes that kindness is the key feature of a good illustration for children.
